We are thrilled to share that Salem Alfassam, our VIS Grade 12 student, has recently been published in the renowned Kuwait Times. His article, on the importance of diversifying Kuwait's economy, highlights Salem's passion and commitment to shaping global discussions on economic and social progress.
When asked about his motivation for writing the piece, Salem said, "I wanted to show how we, the younger generation, can truly influence the future economy. I wanted to share development, ideas and views on what should and shouldn’t happen." Offering advice to his younger peers, Salem encourages the VIS students to use their voice: "f you try hard enough, change can be made. In fact the use of our daily life in VIS guarantees us to learn one new thing and that does not have to be in class or by a teacher. Which allows us to share our knowledge that we have taken in from others and progress the world into a better place!"
Looking ahead, Salem plans to major in International Relations or Entrepreneurship. We are incredibly proud of his achievement and wish him continued success in his future endeavours!
